This is perhaps the most bootlegged Prince show of all time. The sound quality is excellent and the show is superb. Prince was relaxed and having a great time, performing three new tracks: People Without, Still Would Stand All Time, and Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic. His performance of Just My Imagination, for me, is perhaps one of his best of all time. He performed this cover a number of times during this period, but this is the best, inspired. The guitar work is amazing. I listen to this release over and over again and I never tire of it. This is the most important live Prince release ever. Which is why is so heavily bootleged. The original release of this show was by X Records. This release claims to be remastered from the same source tape.

Very few live shows even come close to this release. None have surpassed it. Prince was simply magic on this night, and though other shows may have come close none have recaptured the chemistry he had here. Prince starts the show with a nice instrumental jam which goes into a fabulous remake of DMSR. Next comes one of the best cover songs Prince has ever performed, a beautiful rendition of Just My Imagination, with a classic guitar solo to bring it home. Just when you think it can't get better Prince calls for them to turn out the lights, then proceeds to light up the stage with a new song. People Without was an improvisation that would only be played once, and therefor only witnessed live by a little over 400 people. What I wouldn't give to have been one of those 400 in that magical room that night. If you only buy one live show in your life, buy this one. You will not be disappointed.
