First off, these are NOT the much circulated Family outakes on releases like A Better Place 2 Die. Prince is only noticeable on a few tracks. The majority of the time it sounds as if Paul Petterson or Susannah Melvion are running the rehearsal. If you're into The Family stuff then this is worth getting otherwise, don't bother.

This is a nice document of Prince's vast skills, even though he does little more than oversee this rehearsal it is completely left field compared to what he was doing at the time. That just goes to show how complex he is. He isn't noticeable "vocally" on much of the rehearsal, but it is still a nice release because it shows yet another side of Prince as the producer.

The packaging is pretty nice, and appropriate as well. So basically it boils down to whether you are interested in a release that Prince is not the vocal focal point of.
